“What inspires you?”
“It’s really hard for me to think about one thing that inspires me or what connects all the things that inspire me, ‘cause I really like art and music and literature, and I think all of those things just get at something of what it’s like to be a human being. And also, those things have to do with connections to other human beings, so it kinda connects to another thing that inspires me: my relationship with my students. And specifically, the ones who are really into working for social issues and trying to change the world for the better. That really inspires me, that there are people who are willing to do that, especially when young people are doing it.” -Mr. Roy
