McDonald’s has recently released a new limited addition to their already extensive menu: Sweet N’ Spicy Honey BBQ Glazed Tenders. This new recipe offers a twist on their already popular Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Tenders.
The Sweet N’ Spicy Honey BBQ Glazed Tenders, also known as Glazed Chicken Tenders, comes in three orders, four pieces, six pieces, and ten pieces. In comparison to the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Tenders, the Glazed Chicken Tenders has a slight increase in cost. At a starting price of $4.49 for four pieces, the Glazed Chicken Tenders cost 40 cents more than the four piece Crispy Chicken Tenders. As the Glazed Chicken Tenders require more effort and ingredients to make, the price is also higher than that of the Crispy Chicken Tenders.
The Glazed Chicken Tenders is certainly a tasty treat for chicken tender lovers. The sweet n’ spicy honey BBQ sauce is not overpowering and adds a delightful flavoring that complements the tenders very nicely. The texture is somewhat different from the original Crispy Chicken Tenders, being slightly less crispy but making up for it with its new, scrumptious flavor.
Although the Glazed Chicken Tenders certainly had its highlights, there were some unfavorable parts of the meal. The meal itself looked like Crispy Chicken Tenders but with a sauce poorly poured upon the tenders. Some of the pieces were over drenched in the sauce while others did not have enough.
Although the meal certainly had its shortcomings, the limited availability of the meal certainly attracts McDonald’s fans to try the tenders before they run out. The end date of the Glazed Chicken Tenders has not been released yet.
