“So I’m a senior, and my goal is to enter a four-year college and I plan to pick up on forensics. Forensics interests me is because of my talents of analytical observation and I’m interested in like hands on experimenting things, learning new stuff about science and all that. I have interest for research. I’m the first-generation one [interested in becoming a forensics scientist]. I played chess for two years, and I moved a lot during California all around. And it’s been like four to five years I think, since I’ve been here in California. It was kind of tough at first but I learned to settle.”

“How did you learn to settle?”

“Well, getting used to the new environment of course, and then it’s the matter of blending in. I just got by by myself. I’d say that no matter how tough the situation is, you normally find a way to blend in and then do the best you can of whatever you’re doing.”
