“We met, because we’re in the Travel and Tourism Academy and we just have all our classes together. It kind of just happened because we sit next to each other too.” – Lanea Daylo (11)
“I think [the Travel and Tourism Academy] brought a lot of people together. The teachers are ones that are very understanding when it comes to work and just knowing what’s going on in their students’ lives, so they know whether [the students] need extra help or not. I think a lot of great bonds have been made in the academy because it’s not always just work. We go on field trips, our academy meetings every month, and we do upperclassmen and lowerclassmen buddies, so I think it’s a really good idea that you join the academy.” – Charlene Cortez (11)
